Make mowing great again!

5/5

First ride on tractor I ever purchased, and I regret not buying it sooner. I'm really impressed with the quality of this tractor. The 42 inch deck is a perfect size for my 20k sq. ft of lawn. I would suggest the mulch kit as long as you keep up with regular mowing it works great! Looking into a striping kit next!

not the best for SNOW BLOWING on incline

4/5

X370 tractor,, it does a great job mowing, and sucking up leaves, but come winter time, blowing on level ground is very easy, but when you move to a incline it struggles,I have to blow down hill,, this was my first year, with snow blower. Even with chains and suitcase weights, the rear end is to light in weight. Next season l will try wheel weights to see if it helps.

Not for Snow blowing

3/5

I like this tractor. It is smooth, quiet, well-equipped, well-designed. But it has one major fault: it does not have a limited slip differential and none available. I have a very minor grade on my driveway but this does not have the traction to blow snow and move uphill. Even with chains and 2 suitcase weights. I was told I should look for a tractor with limited slip, but I really liked this model. My mistake. Will be looking to sell it if possible. Other than that, it works and runs great.

Bring on the snow!!!

5/5

My L120 was tired. 500+ hours, but was going to need tires, blades, belts. Too much. Time to go. So I sold it, and bought the x370. I'm getting up in years, and the central New York Snow is still coming down. So, I figured I'll sell the snow blower too, and buy the x370 w/blower. I love it. It makes short work of my lawn, and I can't wait to attach the blower and send snow over to my un friendly neighbor!!

Doesn't bag well

3/5

I have owned 2 lawn tractors before this one, the last one was the X300, and they both bagged better than this tractor. I believe the design of the accel deep deck places the blades too low in the deck. It bags about 3/4 of the clippings and debris and throws the rest everywhere. My other complaint is switching from mulching to bagging is not the simple task they advertise. You have to remove the discharge chute to use the bagging chute because there is no way it will make a seal otherwise and you have to switch back to mulch because the mulching plate bolts to the middle of the discharge chute. Poor design, all you need to mulch is a cover. Very disappointed.

This riding mower exceeds expectations.

5/5

I purchased the X370 2 weeks ago. In addition to the basic mower I added the mulching option with the electric gate control mounted on the dash. I have about 3 hours on the mower. I traded an X310 for this mower, so I still have power steering and hydraulic lift for the deck. The new deck design is impressive in that it stays cleaner on the outside, there is very little build up of grass material on the inside despite mowing in some wet conditions. Tried the mulching attachment on some leaves leftover from last fall, performs as advertised.

Formerly A good product

3/5

I had an X370 with about 30 hours on it and the drive belt broke. I took a look and decided it was a bigger job than I could handle so I called the dealer and made a trade for a brand-new X370. After 1 hour of mowing, the mower deck belt broke. I called the dealer and they sent someone out to fix it. I was able to mow my lawn successfully once and the next time I tried mowing, the mower deck belt broke again. (3 hours on the machine) I called the dealer, but they were too busy to come and get it. I don't think John Deere is anywhere near the quality that they used to be. I have had many John Deere lawn mowers, snow blowers and lawn tractors over the last 40 years, but this really shows how far the quality has fallen.

Excellent product

5/5

I have owned my X370 for 1 year and have 49 hours on it. I bought it to replace my 20 year old STX38 that had a worn out front end. The cut is amazing, love the power steering as I have about 20 trees and 2 buildings to mow around on 2 acres. The only downside is the 18.5 kawasaki uses twice as much fuel as the 13.5 kohler in the STX38. I look forward to using this machine whenever i can.

Great Tractor

5/5

Great tractor! Had a D130 previous to x370, no comparison. Use it for mowing and yard work with my lawn trailer. One problem, have a hydraulic leak which the dealer is working on.

This will not be disappointed

5/5

I replaced my old 216 with this X370. I don't like to write a review as soon as I get an item. I like to see how it does over time. I've had my X370 for a year now. All I can say this thing is a beast. There is nothing I've thrown at it, that it has not handled. I actually cut my yard time down by a 3rd and I went from a 48 inch deck to 42 inch. It's fast, smooth and the cut is so flat my lawn looks like a fresh barber brush cut. I'm not easily impressed but I am impressed with the X370. Now, I also purchased a 44 inch snow thrower with this. I live in central NY south of Lake Ontario. We get lake effect snow and it averages over 100 inches a year. You can not believe the snow this machine can move. I have a 3 car wide driveway and I'm done in about an hour. I've moved snow drifts that were 10 inches the snow thrower. This is a great all year round machine. I would happily buy this again.

Like my X370

5/5

I have had my X370 for about 6 months, with about 30 hours on it now. My lawn is fairly flat, with some drainage features. The 42 inch mower does a very good job, although I have to hand mow a drain ditch high spot ( the 42" mower wants to scalp this ) . The rest of the lawn mows very well. I have the mulch blades and that seems also to work well. I got the X370 because of the hydraulic lift and steering, due to leg issues from a back injury. Hydraulics is a good thing, and there have been no issues with lifting the mower or 44" angling snow plow at temperatures in the low 20*F range. I also like that both the transmission and engine have serviceable filters. I would do it again. I recommend C&B Deere out of Miles City, Montana, as my dealer.

my favorite deere yet

5/5

I have owned John Deere tractors for a number of years, starting with an L series, moving up to an S240, and finally ending up at the X370 most recently. The automotive power steering is especially helpful at preventing fatigue as I mow nearly two acres regularly. The serviceable transaxle is great because I have a hilly property and that increases heat and wear on a transaxle. The Accel Deep deck is phenomenal - you can actually hear the suction it creates to lift the grass when you mow with it. Cut quality is excellent and I have installed the mulch control kit for added versatility because I mow a large road frontage and don't want to throw grass into the road. My only complaint is about an hour into mowing the LCD screen will partially fog up. It goes away with no damage but there must be a small leak in the display allowing moisture build-up. I would heartily recommend this tractor.
